What are ebioro virtual accounts?
ebioro virtual accounts let you receive and send funds in fiat currency through different payment systems. The banking provider offers virtual accounts in USD and EUR, with different rails for each currency:
- USD: ACH, Wire and FedNow.
- EUR: SEPA and SEPA Instant.
Virtual accounts work as reusable addresses for receiving fiat deposits. Funds received can be converted automatically into cryptocurrency and sent to the configured destination.
USD virtual account
The USD virtual account provides bank details for operations through ACH and Wire. It also allows FedNow for operations compatible with that rail.
EUR virtual account
The EUR virtual account provides a virtual IBAN for transfers through SEPA and SEPA Instant.
Fund conversion
Virtual accounts can be used to receive fiat funds and convert them into cryptocurrency. The banking provider allows a virtual account to be configured so that funds received are converted into USDC on Stellar. For example:
- EUR / SEPA → Banking provider virtual account → USDC on Stellar
- USD / ACH-Wire → Banking provider virtual account → USDC on Stellar
Operations in the opposite direction are also possible:
- USDC → EUR / SEPA
Stellar-related operations allow a destination address and, where applicable, a memo to be specified.
Limits and compliance
The limits and conditions of each operation depend on the currency, the rail used and the type of operation. Virtual accounts are also subject to the banking provider's compliance processes. An operation with a published limit is not necessarily exempt from additional reviews or verifications. For the specific limits of each account, see:
