# USD virtual account limits and payments

###### USD virtual account limits and payments

The banking provider's USD virtual accounts provide bank details for receiving and sending funds through ACH and Wire. They can also use FedNow for operations compatible with that rail.

**Incoming payments**
The banking provider allows the following types of incoming payments into USD virtual accounts:
* Money from the account holder's own bank, fintech or brokerage account.
* Payroll payments from companies.
* Third-party payments from registered companies.
* Third-party payments from a family member who shares the same surname.
* Third-party P2P payments below 4,000 USD.

The 4,000 USD limit applies to incoming third-party payments between individuals. It does not apply to payments from companies. A registered company can send money to a customer's USD virtual account within the transaction categories allowed by the banking provider. Third-party payments are accepted in most US states, except New York and Texas.

**Transaction limits**

For ACH and Wire, the banking provider has not published a general maximum applicable to all operations. For FedNow, the published maximum is 10,000,000 USD per onramp transaction. The minimum depends on the rail or route used.

**Summary**

| Item | USD virtual account |
| ---- | ---- |
| Rails | ACH, Wire, FedNow |
| Deposits from the account holder | Allowed |
| Third-party deposits — companies | Allowed |
| Third-party deposits — individuals | Subject to the applicable rules |
| Third-party P2P payments | Below 4,000 USD |
| ACH/Wire maximum | No general maximum published |
| FedNow maximum | 10,000,000 USD per onramp |
| Minimum | Depends on the rail / route |

The limits above do not remove the banking provider's compliance processes. Operations may be subject to review and additional requirements.
