# How to deposit cash at a MoneyGram agent

You can add money to your Ebioro account by paying cash at a MoneyGram agent in 29 countries.

**Before you start**

- Your identity must be verified in the app.
- Your USD balance must be open. The cash you pay is added to it. If it is not open yet, open it from Home first.

**Step by step**

1. Open **Add money** and choose **Deposit cash** (pay cash at a MoneyGram agent location).
2. Follow the steps on screen. The amount is from 5 to 950 USD per transaction. MoneyGram asks for your personal details on its own screen. If we already have them, they come pre-filled.
3. Confirm. You get a **payment reference** in the app.
4. Go to a MoneyGram agent with your official ID and the reference, and pay the cash.
5. Your balance updates once MoneyGram confirms the payment. The status in **Activity** changes to *Money added*.

**Useful to know**

- Cash deposit is not available yet in Spain, Italy, France, Portugal or the Netherlands. The full list of countries is in **In which countries can I deposit cash?**.
- Use **Find nearby locations** in the app, or [moneygram.com/locations](https://www.moneygram.com/locations), to find an agent.
