How does the seed phrase work in ebioro?

The seed phrase is a sequence of 12 words that serves as the master key to your wallet. It allows you to recover access to your wallet and its associated funds if you lose your device, reinstall the app, or encounter any other situation that prevents you from accessing your wallet normally.

Priority over cloud backup

In ebioro, the seed phrase takes priority over cloud backup. This means that even if you have enabled wallet backup through Google Drive or iCloud, the seed phrase remains the primary and most reliable way to recover access to your funds. If you ever need to restore your wallet, the system will use the seed phrase first, even if you also have an active cloud backup.

Security recommendations

Your seed phrase is extremely sensitive information. Therefore:

Store it in a safe place: Preferably offline and out of other people's reach.
