ebioro has developed a functional prototype platform for the issuance, trading, and settlement of securities — stocks and bonds — conceived as a technical demonstration of what a modern capital market infrastructure for Cuba could look like.

**What does the prototype involve?**

The prototype, given the demonstration name Havana Stock Exchange (BVH), is a platform that demonstrates how a securities market could operate on blockchain infrastructure. The solution is built on the Stellar network, which provides traceability, transaction speed, and scalability for the business environment.

The prototype runs exclusively in a controlled environment and does not involve the actual issuance of securities. Its purpose is to demonstrate the technical feasibility of the model, not to operate as an active stock exchange.

**Demonstrated features**

The prototype allows users to explore the following capabilities:
* **Securities issuance:** Registration and management of stocks and bonds.
* **Capital management:** Administration of capitalization tables, coupons, and dividends.
* **Market exploration:** Real-time visualization of listed securities.
* **Order simulation:** Submission and cancellation of buy and sell orders, with instant portfolio updates.

**What could it be used for?**

ebioro sees this technology as a way to explore asset valuation, the potential capitalization of assets and businesses, and the facilitation of capital raising to support the growth of Cuba's private sector. All of this would take place within the regulatory framework established by the relevant authorities. The prototype aims to open a discussion on how infrastructure of this kind could be integrated into a future regulatory framework, without anticipating any production implementation.

**Current status**

The prototype is in the demonstration and evaluation phase with corporate clients and strategic partners. It does not constitute a securities offering or an operational investment or brokerage service. Its current use is limited to technical demonstrations, with no real counterparties or client funds involved. Any eventual launch would be subject to the applicable regulatory authorizations in each relevant jurisdiction.
